Bold twist on the classic "Christmas jumper"

Why not step away from tradition and explore the bold twist on the classic "Christmas jumper". Dominated by cringe 3D Christmas characters, greens, reds, and snow scenery that can only be worn once a year, add a modern twist that can be worn all year round but will keep you snug and warm for the festive season with this bright tangerine orange knitted jumper. (H&M £14.99)

I personally love this! Admittedly my wardrobe has a similar addition in a highlighter green but I'm sure I will purchase this in the New Year. I normally go for boring neutral tones so I thought an injection of colour would create a more versatile but fresh look.
I know winter is an excuse to wrap up in your 'sensible' but questionably fashionable warm, woolly ensembles but why not be warm in style?
However, it is safe to say that the Christmas jumper will always be embedded into British tradition although I will never be seen in one! Comment, agree or convince me that I'm wrong!

New Purchase! "BLACK CLEATED SOLE CHELSEA BOOTS"

With Christmas looming, the same question is thrust upon me each year- "Laura what do you want for Christmas?". I don't know about you but when I have no money, I want everything! But when I have the opportunity to to have a spend up I never really know what to buy!

However, the miserable weather and long tedious trek down the high street today simply left my mind when I set my eyes on these beauties! Black Cleated Sole Chelsea Boots from River Island for just £38.00!!.
A total bargain and can be worn with so many styles and outfits- these boots add an edgy twist to any ensemble.
I love universal pieces that I can get plenty of use out of and can be worn all year round. The black leather will co-ordinate with any outfit and the cleated sole should make these boots suitable for even winter weather; a hypothesis I shall have to brave!
Completely in fashion at the moment; popular on the high street and high fashion, these Chelsea boots will look beautiful under any Christmas tree! I will post my styling and fashion choices after Christmas but for now get to the shops and purchase asap!

Hello Everybody!

Hello my fellow beauty and fashion lovers! My name is Laura Morley, and I am an 18 year old student at the City University London studying Journalism. I am completely new to the world of blogging, but since i'm studying journalism and have a passion for beauty and fashion, why not share it with the world!
Being a student living in the heart of London, I have learnt to compromise when it comes to make-up, particularly when considering time and effort. From quick beauty techniques to money saving products, I have been through the wars when trying to control my skin! My blog will become my make-up diary; sharing my opinions and recommendations to save you from having to try it for yourselves!

Although I plan to blog about all things beauty and fashion, I have to take this opportunity to share my passion for art and culture. From contemporary to classic art- I shall be sharing my exploration of the world of art with you all! Who ever said you can't combine fashion and art together ay!?
