Estée Lauder's best seller Double Wear foundation.
It's suitable for any skin type, because although it's oil-free for those with oily skin, I find it quite moisturising, not drying my skin but maintaining and balancing the essential oils.
I have the colour 2C3 Fresco and it fits my newly sun kissed skin colour perfectly- if only I had it on holiday with me…then I wouldn't be sporting different shades of orange! It's also SPF 10 so it may have been able to stop my embarrassingly burnt red nose! Remember girls, your face is much much more sensitive to the sun compared to other areas of the body, so taking extra care is key!
The silky smooth texture is just gorgeous, and although I thought it would be quite heavy and give me 'Double' the foundation coverage, it's surprisingly light and still lets my skin breathe in hot, humid conditions.
The product details on the Estée Lauder site promise that unlike other foundations, Double Wear is 'worry free', lasting all day and not having to worry about the dreaded bathroom dash to top up the powder and stop that pesky shine. When trying it for the first day, I remember doing makeup checks in my compact and I couldn't help but think… "wow this stuff is indestructible!".
For you little party goers out there, Double Wear can give you a flawless finish lasting all night (15 hours in fact) and still won't smudge or move out of place… even if you have danced on the tables all night! (nobody has to know).
It's my favourite comfy, light weight but high coverage foundation which I would recommend to anyone (particularly anyone with oily skin) and everybody I have recommended it to so far, have not been disappointed!
