IT'S MY BIRTHDAY, IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! I've probably said this a gazillion times today but I just can't help it; it's the one day of the year that being a complete diva is acceptable!
But I've been an incredibly lucky girl this year and I feel truly blessed for all the lovely and thoughtful birthday messages and presents, I have the best family, boyfriend and friends ever.
This post is dedicated to my pretty presents and purchases that I couldn't help but treat myself too… after all, IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!
Gorgeous gifts from my lovely parents- My mum has killer taste! (All items shown above: River Island)
I found these cutesy gingham pumps in the Topshop (Westfield) sale for just £15! Such a bargain and cute as a button! (it was also the best day ever shopping with my two favourite girls, bargain hunting and egging each other on to buy things we didn't need… i.e. notepads and bread)I also purchased this cute purple crop from Topshop in a summery lemon, but I had to exchange it for a bigger size and different colour. I really hate having big boobs that get in the way; a crop that shows more than just your tum is quite controversial. With both styles of crop for just £8, you can't get any better than that!
Underwear was very much needed. Bras that don't fit can cause major catastrophes, so caging the beasts is essential. New Look have upped their game in the lingerie department- I fell in love with the floral lace bra which I also bought in black- you can never have too many black bras! They're also strapless so completely worth it! LOVE
My lovely boyfriend Sam then took me out for a lovely lunch- don't worry, the diet will start again tomorrow- and he surprised me with two tickets to the Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour on Friday which I'm so so so so so excited for. I have no shame in admitting I'm the biggest Harry Potter nerd ever and getting a picture on a broomstick will just make my birthday even more fabulous.
These are just a few beauty products I thought I needed but didn't. I just can't seem to help myself! The Tea Tree range from The Body Shop has recently become a favourite of mine for targeting spots (particularly the lotion) so I'm looking forward to incorporating the toner into my skincare routine as well.
Nip+Fab is also a newly discovered favourite of mine, and after hearing such great things about the Gylcolic Fix Serum, I just had to feed my curiosity and try it! I will do a post soon on my new products after I give em a shot!
